Ayah percaya hantu?

Seketika sedang saya melepak dengan anak saya, dia bertanya saya soalan yang berbunyi begini, ” ayah percaya hantu?”

Saya katakan pada anak saya, saya memang percaya pada kewujudan makhluk halus, cuma kepercayaan saya kepada Tuhan melebihi segala-galanya berbanding dengan segala kejadian di mukabumi ini. Cuma kita tak boleh takbur. Saya katakan begitu kerana hantu pernah ikut saya balik rumah dan kacau saya sampai tak boleh tidur. Ha ha ha

Itu sepuluh tahun dululah. Jadi dari pengalaman itu kita perlu mengatasi rasa takut dengan menguatkan semangat kita sendiri. Semuanya bergantung kepada diri kita sendiri. Kalau lemah semangat, habislah!

Semalam waktu saya sampai rumah, pukul 12 waktu itu. Mungkin ada benda ikut saya balik kot. Sebab orang rumah saya mimpi orang ketuk pintu rumah dan bila dia baca ayat kursi semuanya menjadi seperti sediakala semula, insyaallah. Bangun pagi terdapat goresan garis-garis di lengannya.
Saya pun tak tau nak kata apa sebab hal-hal mistik ni saya kurang minat nak ambil tahu, tapi kena ambil tahu jugalah sikit lebih kurang.

Kalau kita percaya pada ayat-ayat agama, bacalah jika ia mampu menjadi pendinding atau menambah-yakin keyakinan dalam diri kita sendiri.
Lagipun jika kita belajar ilmu usul, di dalam diri kita penuh dengan huruf-huruf yang terang dan malap. Carilah di mana terdapat huruf yang memang sepatutnya menjadi milik kita andai kita pandai menterjemahkan segala rahsia yang terkandung di dalam badan kita ini.
